Although Montforan Pvt Ltd is an import and export company, it will initially focus on the importation of goods primarily from Zimbabwe to the UK. The company aims to build a successful business platform serving the UK’s larger communities who invest in quality goods regardless of their origin. Overtime, Montforan will create links with the majority of the African countries and the rest of the world with a view of setting up distribution points across the UK.

Montforan’s product line includes the following from a wide range

• Beverages, Peanut butter, Cereals
• Spices & herbs, Sweet potatoes, Nuts, Cowpeas/black eyed peas – Packaged foods
• Sugar, Coffee, Fruits, Other vegetables & Tobacco

Montforan will also carry other popular and unique products to include;

• Sculptures, Basketry, Pottery, Housewares

Montforan will source goods from producers/suppliers of food and other products on behalf of other UK businesses. Montforan will be responsible for its own collection and supply of market information. Montforan will study the market to inform their own business

Montforan will sell and market goods on the major social media platforms. Montforan will provide warehousing/storage for its products . Montforan will introduce new product lines as and when required and as dictated by the market forces

Montforan will bear different type of risks in relation to goods being imported and sold within the UK. Montforan and its agents abroad will bear the responsibility of grading and packing of goods

We are fully aware that there is a demand of high quality goods from abroad that we can deliver to the market and we want to take this opportunity and be competitive in the market. 

We have the capacity to deliver these goods and we intend to grow this capacity further

We will be offering highly organic ,nutritious  foods and originally handmade artefacts sourced from organic and indigenous materials.   

As directors of Montforan, we both have  passion of showcasing the best of Zimbabwean and African foods and products

We have the skills and knowledge of running such a business and at the same time we want to broaden and learn new skills in an entirely different industry

It is our goal to achieve financial independence ,flexibility, and gain entrepreneurial experience in an environment that we are going to create ourselves

This project gives us the opportunity to meet new people and create  opportunities and new jobs both abroad and in the UK

We want to give back to the small scale producers of food and other products in Zimbabwe the opportunities to create and grow their own businesses.
